Project Information

Project Background

My Left Foot is an independent digital agency that prioritizes both data and analytics-driven results and creative thinking. What sets them apart from the other agencies in the industry are their fast, nimble and smart thinking and their passion for bringing their client’s vision into reality. As their client base, they have real estate companies, financial institutions, government organizations and various consumer products and services. My left foot focuses on solving the business problem for their clients and building a long-lasting partnership with them. They are currently facing issues telling these great stories through their website.

Project Background

Identifying the problem

How might we restructure and redesign My Left Foot’s website so that it tells their story better and drives potential clients into starting a conversation with the team?

Defining Goals

  • Redesigning the website to facilitate potential clients to start a conversation with the team.

  • Highlighting the faces and work environment behind the scene to attract potential employees.

Research

Research

The research was conducted on the current website and among 11 competitors to understand the problem areas of current options and expectations from such platforms. Below you can see some of the research findings.

PERSONA ANALYSIS

Personas are fictional characters, which we create based upon our research to represent the different user types that might similarly use our platform/product. Creating personas helps us to understand our users’ needs, experiences, behaviors, and goals. Personas make the design task at hand less complex, they guide our ideation processes, and they can help us to achieve the goal of creating a good user experience for our target user group. Following 2 personas have been created with survey and interview done for 'My Left Foot'.

SITE MAP

UX Theme is the user experience brief that captures the value my project will bring to users. The brief is a great way to let all members of the collaborative team know what I am trying to accomplish, and the experience I want users to have. Later we can refer the brief to guide us in the design decisions.

WIREFRAMES

As 'My Left Foot' already has an well established brand guideline, we worked mainly on the website content structure. Some of the major changes we suggested are adding a form to collect information from a potential client in order to start a conversation, increasing visual appeal of individual case study pages, adding sections to introduce the people and culture of the agency, highlighting significant results of case studies etc.

HI-FI PROTOTYPE

In the last stage of designing, I created the below screens to put together the final prototype. A functioning prototype gives a glimpse of how the actual platform would perform once fully developed.

NEXT STEPS

We have successfully handed over the final design along with wireframes to 'My Left Foot' team for the further development of the website as per our work scope. We wish them all the best in the long run.
